Divine Mortals

I can see you... staring...
Long ago, in the beginning, the land was ruled by a tyrannical god named Kali. They ruled over the land for 200 years unchallenged, leaving a trail of death and fear wherever their influence spread. Five mortals – Safari, Ubathi, Scalene, Nymph, and Solomon.
They were successful. The tyrannical Kali had been overthrown! Their crown was shattered and from each fragment came the curse of god hood and a crown to match:
A god of war, pestilence, famine, death and chaos. All powerful and divine in their own right.
However in their victory it was not yet noticed that the youngest of them had changed in ways that no one had anticipated. Solomon, the new god of chaos, had grown ill during their journey. Although it seemed that in their crowning all of their problems had been solved, perhaps there is only so much divine power can fix…
As the five grew and came into their power Solomon became greedy, power hungry. He soon became the most powerful of the five and far more malevolent than anyone could have expected from the previously kind and gentle goat.
As he began to encroach on the domains of the other gods, the god of Famine, Scalene decided in that moment that enough was enough and gathered the gods to put a stop to Solomon.
The gods sealed away Solomon from the mortal world. However in this feat the remaining gods were left severely wounded and with Scalene having paid with her life.
In the time following a new god of Famine, String Cheese, was crowned and the remnants of the Chaos cult scattered and largely forgotten.
Chaos, however, can only be contained for so long…

Who owns Divine Mortals?
The short answer is nobody does, it belongs to the server as whole.
The long answer is as follows: You own what you make. If you have wrote or created something for the story, you own that part. If you worked together with someone to create a part, ownership is equally split between the involved people.
Should you decide to leave Divine Mortals, you may give away the lore you wrote to be used by someone else, take your lore with you, or trash it entirely- if you were to take it with you, any lore or characters that were not 100% created or owned by you may NOT be used.
What is the Lamberica Discord server?
Lamberica was originally created as a Cult of the Lamb fan server. Since its creation however it has evolved into its own fandom entirely.
That being said, it isn't exclusively for Divine Mortals, it's also just a friend server where we chat, play games, voice call, and just hang out. It just also so happens to be where Divine Mortals is made.
Think of it like a house owned by a bunch of friends/roommates who also are all work-from-home artists and writers for the same project.
If the story is called Divine Mortals, why is the abbreviation DMAU?
Originally, DMAU started out as a Cult of the Lamb alternate universe. The "AU" is the name stands for Alternate Universe. That being said, Divine Mortals stopped being an AU a long time ago. However, we liked the abbreviation of DMAU so much that we just kept it.
Now, we just say it stands for Divine Mortals: Autism Unite- which as you can guess is how the story came to be this complex.
Who are you?
Something forgotten, long ago. But you will remember me. My soul burns brighter than the pages of history have.
