Born to his single mother as a heretic in 770-780 PA, String Cheese travelled with his mother for the first few years of his life before she fell gravely ill. Realising she was in no shape to raise a child, his mother returned to the Chaos cult that she had originally hailed from.
String Cheese would spend his youth in the cult, mostly being looked after and raised by Chamomille while his mother was in the hospital. He looked after the farms and gained a love for farming and gardening.
On his 20th birthday, his big coming of age celebration in the cult, his mother died. String Cheese fled the cult, drowning in despair. He searched the forests in a manic frenzy, looking for a way to end his life and join his mother. Coming across a patch of mushrooms, he ate them all, forgetting in his haze to even check if they were poisonous (spoiler alert: they weren't). He tripped so hard he summoned Solomon, who offered to take him on as a Priest. He would later return to the cult to continue his celebration, not telling anyone of the events that had conspired during his time in the forest.
He stayed as a Priest for a few years, performing his duties in the cult until the time of Solomon's chaining. During the chaining, Scalene was killed, and String Cheese was appointed as her successor as the new God of Famine. He would take over the realm of Lepidop and its cultgrounds. He offered Chamomille the place as his Prophet, which she accepted.
During his time as the Famine God, String Cheese would conduct many experiments in his personal gardens, using blood curses and magic on the plants and plant matter in the gardens to try and create living children. Most of these experiments failed, creating non-sentient monsters who he set free to roam and protect the Lepidop forest.
Lepidop is thickly covered in autumnal trees with two large swamps to the north/south.
Throughout the land lie many small villages dotted around the countryside, despite their quaint size they worship their God fervently and wish for blessings from their God to be bestowed upon them.
Sometimes you may stumble across small patches of land with large fungal outbreaks, the mushrooms themselves are mostly harmless if taken proper measures, however, many of the forests "creatures" like to propagate within these areas.

Backstory/Lore
The previous God of Famine, was killed by Solomon during his chaining. A king cobra.
Scalene was viewed as a ruthless leader to all who did not fall under her reign. She was a commander of drought and rot, leaving a permanent mark on the land of those who did not submit to her rule.
To her cultists, she was welcoming, offering shelter and food to those who needed it.
