Poem Anthology
Written by Wolsal
Ophelia-
Oh rat of the flock, fur black as coal
Pray tell what you did, heart hard as stone
Hail to your lord, not question comes after
Erupt with regret, mind full and scattered
Lament for what you lost, hide from the sins of their making
In life and in chains you still hope for his reaping
And as your life draws near and your breath grows thin, seek solace in the fact that you end where you begin.
Rise and Fall-
You shan't rise like your name. You should have known better.
You gained his sight, traded fervor for favor.
The crashing comes near and the water floods in.
Go whence fallen one, you've met with your sin.
Homewrecker-
Hide in plain sight, stay shrouded in the crowd.
Oh pray tell, why do you destroy your own faithful?
May you pray for forgiveness from the divine up above, but nobody ever shall reap from his love.
Every time you pray to the ever divine graces, hidden in the scripture are tales of his faces.
Wherever you go, and whatever you do, you can’t brush aside the feeling he's hiding something from you.
Rabid child, rabid man, both doomed to fall away.
Evermore you wonder, would you do it again? Would you make the same mistake, was it ever even so?
Cry as you wake, bright light cradling above.
Know what you may, you shall never tell.
Eager eyed creature, dull minded alike.
Reminisce forever those years of your life.
Tragos-
Oh tragedy of mind, oh tragedy of soul. Cloven hooves and heart of coal. Fear not oh tragedy, it will be okay. A mind now forgotten, your body of decay.
